Volunteer Videographer Opportunity

Are you interested in creating interesting and fun video content for Social Media and even YHA’s online channels? We need innovative and creative volunteers like you to create fun and inspiring videos that promote YHA and inform the public about various aspects of YHA work, hostels and the communities we support.

You will have the freedom to make the video you want to make, to host on your social media channels, and YHA will share and promote your project. If your video meets our branding and quality standards we will even host in on our own online channels, which along with a reference from us, you can include in your professional portfolio to help your future career.

As a self-led role, you can decide whether you complete your project from home, or outside in the countryside and communities near to your local YHA hostel! You can also decide how much time you want to commit. Our action plan is based on at least an hour a week for 12 weeks, but we welcome longer or shorter volunteering hours – whatever you think you need to complete your amazing video project!

Our friendly staff will give you a warm welcome and support you throughout your volunteering. You don't need any experience - just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved!

Your work will help keep YHA in the public’s mind - ensuring that the hostelling movement is better than ever after COVID. You will help us to share activities for young people and families especially during these difficult times.
