Nexus Film/TV Showcase Event! 11 March

Nexus is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to aid the success of Midlands creatives in film, TV and theatre. Over the last 8 years we've achieved this by holding regular networking events, running mini-masterclasses and hosting showcases such as our upcoming, East vs West Midlands Showcase —an initiative in collaboration with Derby QUAD and supported by BFI NETWORK & Film Hub Midlands.

East vs West Midlands Showcase


The goal of the East vs West Midlands Showcase is to bring together the two sides of the Midlands through friendly competition, so that both regions can unite in their support for one another. The screening of selected films and awards presentation will be followed by a drinks reception and networking. Our networking sessions are an amazing chance for creatives from all over the midlands—both in front of and behind camera—to meet each other in a relaxed and welcoming environment!

The event will take place on 11 March at Derby QUAD, DE1 3AS.
