We want independent and student filmmakers and scriptwriters of all ages to submit their short films and scripts for a chance to win an exciting parliamentary competition.

Categories open for submissions:

• Directors UK Best Film Direction (Under and Over 19)

• Best Short Film (Under and Over 19)

• Best Script (Under and Over 19)

About Film the House

A competition for UK-based student and independent scriptwriters and filmmakers showcasing new talent while highlighting the value of intellectual property (IP) rights. Run in collaboration with MPs and industry experts, it encourages MPs to protect creative output, and constituents to connect with their local MP.

Prizes & Deadline

Winners receive a cash prize, mentoring session from an industry pro and a BBFC certification for their film. Deadline is 6 January 2023.
