Creative UK Student Membership - paid opportunities & networks

CREATIVE UK has now launched their Student Membership. As a student at the University of Lincoln this is available to you for FREE and will rapidly become an invaluable tool in helping you with your studies and emerging creative career. Student membership provides useful advice, resources, industry insights and connections designed to support creative students and new graduates succeed in their chosen creative discipline. You can quickly and easily join here.
Current highlights of the student membership include:
• A new online student members platform with exclusive content, including 90+ hours of footage from the annual flagship festival, Creative Coalition.
• Exciting, CV-enhancing opportunities, including paid opportunities to write for the Creative UK website
• Details of Creative UK’s ‘Breaking In’ events (next one, Tue 25th October) offering the chance to meet key industry speakers, ask questions, and gain greater industry insight.
On Wednesday 2nd November, CREATIVE UK will be on the Lincoln campus to chat about careers and opportunities in the creative and cultural industries, at the University Careers Fair in the Engine Shed. Thinking about becoming an artist? A writer? A performer? A designer? A creative entrepreneur? Or maybe a bit of all of these? Come and find out about how you can develop your career in the UK’s exciting creative industries and how CREATIVE UK can support you and help you realize your aspirations.
As well as being at the Careers Fair, CREATIVE UK will be running a special 1-hour session for all College of Arts students on Wednesday 2nd November at 3pm in DCB1101 (in the David Chiddick Building). As well as hearing from a guest speaker, there will be the opportunity to enter an exclusive competition for University of Lincoln students to win tickets to CREATIVE UK’s next festival event – Creative Coalition ’23 – the UK’s largest festival for the creative sectors.
