Creative Connect!

The College of Arts and the Digital Education & Student Life team are delighted to announce the launch of CREATIVE CONNECT – the tool for students from all disciplines at the University of Lincoln to help find collaborative partners. For example, perhaps students are looking for a designer, performer, coder, media practitioner, workshop participant or writer? If so, they can use CREATIVE CONNECT to find the creative talent they need to take their project to the next level!

Collaboration is at the heart of modern creative practice and creativity thrives when different disciplines work together. With CREATIVE CONNECT students can find like-minded students with the skills they need to bring their ideas to life and find opportunities for to explore new avenues, gaining a greater understanding of their discipline and its professional working practices.

CREATIVE CONNECT is for University of Lincoln students only (everyone using it has to sign-in using their university name and password) and is a moderated, safe and secure site. They simply choose what their advert says, how long the ad runs for, and how they would like interested students to contact them.

Alternatively, students can simply browse the site to find opportunities that appeal to them. Blackboard announcements will alert students to opportunities on CREATIVE CONNECT that reflect their programme of study.

This cross-discipline connection tool will give students real-world experience through working with other disciplines, allowing them to use their creative skills in a practical and professional setting, expanding their portfolio to stand out in competitive industries.
